Heres my situation:
I currently own a GTX 970 that has served me well for over a year. It's an all around fantastic card, and considering I only plan to be playing at 1080, here are my question(s).
1. Should I just keep the 970 and save the cash I have on hand (or possibly buy a decent 1080 monitor).
2. Sell the 970 and buy a USED 980Ti on ebay.
3. Wait for paschal to come out, see the performance difference vs Maxwell and if significant, buy a new 1070 or 1080 (price depending).
I know about the performance difference between the 2 current cards, and i also realize that gaming at 1080 the 970 will serve me well for a while. However I am at a point where I don't want to do much change to my pc over the next few years, and games the way they are going I will need a more powerful card in the future.
Thank you for providing a second opinion!
