GTX 970 vs Quadro K-series

I am going to build a PC for gaming and 3D-modeling and I'm not sure which of these graphics card would be better.

What software will be using and do you have an idea as to which Quadro card? Do you have the rest of the build too?

Games will be like The Witcher III
Programs will be Unreal Engine and 3DS Max
I would get a Quadro card that costs no more than the GTX 970

For the rest of the build I am planning on getting:

- (motherboard) MSI Gaming 5 (please can you suggest something better)
- (CPU) Intel i7 4790
- (RAM) Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 1866Mhz (is this enough?)

For that much, the 970 is a much better choice than a cheap quadro card. 16GB should be enough to start off with and you can always upgrade later if you need to. For the motherboard, how about the Asus Maximus VII Hero or the MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition?
