I really need to ask for your advice to choose which NVIDIA video card should I buy.
I use CAD softwares (SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, INVENTOR), video editing software (Sony Vegas, After effects) and also 3D computer graphics softwares (Blender, Maya). For this reason I want to buy a video card that could get greater performance for these softwares.
My budget allows me to choose between GTX 970 and Quadro k2200. I know that Quadro cards are specialy designed for the kind of software that I use, but when I was reading the specifications of both cards, I found that GTX 970 has better specs than Quadro k2200 (1660 cores for GTX vs 640 cores for Quadro, 256 bit-interface for GTX vs 128 bit-interface for Quadro...). However, I have not made a decision. I really need the expert opinion.
So, based on my needs, can someone please say to me which video card would give me better performance for using the softwares that I mention before?
