Hey guys. So I have a GTX 970 M that I salvaged from my old MSI GT70 2QMD that I tried to install on my friend's Lenovo laptop. Unfortunately because it's GPU was integrated into the Motherboard itself there were no PCIe ports on it. So I thought no biggie I'll just get a cheap $10 USB to PCIe adapter and call it a day. Then I realized that the GPU doesn't match the standard PCIe slot interface. I ended up calling Nvidia about it and was told laptop manufacturers have very proprietary component designs in order to make their specific laptop viable. Does anybody know what this particular interface is called and if so any recommendations for a PCIe to USB adapter?

Notice how the interface is split in half instead of 80% 20% like a normal PCIe port
