Okay, so last weekend I bought a new computer with the 8350, 32gb ram, and an Asus strix 980. I got all the drivers and stuff of their webpage, and used the disk that the motherboard came with. I downloaded the 980 drivers off of asus's website, and even tried a bios update for the card. I reset all of my motherboard settings to default, and tried looking up other stuff online.
My old 290x and 590 performed better in Minecraft, War thunder, and Bioshock infiinte, and as of now I'm extremely disappointed. I think it's just the fact that the cards trying to be so efficient or something, or whatever.
As well as all that, here is a screenshot showing that the 980 strix was the lowest scored in the windows experience index. The GPU usage barely goes above 60% and my frames are in the 200s and they used to be in the 500s with the 290x and 590. (I had an old 590 laying around when my 290x fan failed). I've been extremely unlucky with video cards, in 2013 my h80 fried my 660 and they only payed for the cooler. I'm hoping that I don't have a bad experience with the asus tech support. Any last suggestions?
