Ok, so maybe I am confused here, but I keep testing all my games on max settings and I dont see the card doing more than 50% I see videos of others at 100% and a friend said if its not at 100% something is bottlenecked.

So I made this video, and checked everything in msi afterburner to display, to show full system readings.

Can some of you who know more about this than me look at the stats in the top left and tell me if this looks about right for my pc specs? Thanks again

*Video just uploaded, so might be poor quality until youtube finishes the rendering.

You are most likely being bottlenecked. I'd say the best thing to do is either overclock your CPU or get a new intel one or possibly a much stronger amd one. AMD cores are much weaker compared to intel as their architecture isn't as efficient. This means that an extremely powerful card like the 980 paired with a weaker AMD cpu is being held back by the lesser performance of the amd cpu.

Damn, I thought the 8350 was one of the better amd cpus. I5 or i7 is not a possibility for atleast a good 8 month, s I have too many medical bills to pay for atm.

But how is it I see videos on youtube of others with the same CPU & GPU without any bottlenecking & they are not ocing?

Never OCd before & dont have water cooling, just air, so not sure I want to risk killing my cpu just yet.

I tested this with WatchDogs *offline* Shadow of Mordor *Offline* Battlefield 4 *off & online* & a few other games.

Sadly, everybody & their brother said that the FX8350 would not bottleneck the GTX980. Now that I have both, it seems that there is bottlenecking.

Ill try to get a decent intel cpu by the end of 2015, just cant afford to atm, having upgraded from the fx6300 to the 8350.

I am able to run games fine, just wish I could unlock its full usage.. I never OC'd before, so it is not something I feel very safe doing, for fear of a costly door stopper.
