Hi everyone, I Just bought a Windforce Gtx 980 and any time I go to load up a game (no matter what game (gta 5, battlefront, fallout 4) and I can't get more then 10-15 fps max on any setting (low-ultra) I tried heaven benchmark and I can pull 30fps on ultra setting with striker every few seconds and that's it. I have all the graphics drivers updated too.

Here's my specs :3

Windows 8.1 Pro
Intel core i5 6600K 3.5Hz (4 Core)
Msi Z170A Krait Gaming Motherboard
Nvidia Windforce GTX 980 4GB
Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD
Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive
ETS-T40fit CPU Cooler
Corsair 850m PSU
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16gb

How can I get this card pushing out the level of performance it should? Thank you in advance. -Rob :3

are you using any kind of overclocking software? i would either check the temperatures or check what clock speeds the card is running at. i had a weird anomaly a few times, where after installing a new driver for an HD 7970, the core clock would be set to 400mhz for no reason and i had to set it back manually with MSI afterburner. hopefully its something as easy as that.

Haven't touched the 980 in any overclocking software but have used msi afterburner with previous cards on this system (hd 7770, gt720) heres a screenshot of msi afterburner when it loads up
