gtx 980 ti g1 hdmi 2.0 ?

hi guys ! i want to buy gtx 980 ti g1 and i am reading reviews, but i am bit confused , does this card have hdmi 2.0 or not ? in the gigabyte specs page i see only hdmi but they other reviews that say hdmi 2.0, can anyone demonstrate to me please?!!

Well based on what this says yes the 980 ti uses hdmi 2.0 or at least the reference model does so I would definitely expect all vendors to be using hdmi 2.0 as well.

Do you need hdmi 2.0? I would only use that if i had no other option like on an HDTV or something. On a monitor I would just use display port or DVI.

Yah your going to need HDMI 2.0 to run at 60hz. Are you going to be gaming on that thing?

Well for gaming its not exactly ideal, first off a single 980 ti is not what I would recommend for 4k gaming some games especially in the future will struggle to run at 4k expect less than ideal framerates in a lot of games. And HDTVs in general are not exactly designed for gaming here is a quote from digital versus about that tv "We couldn't possibly recommend this TV for FPS online gaming. We measured input lag at 60 ms in game mode, which is 3.5 frames slower than the fastest models available." 60ms input lag is quite a bit and definitely very noticeable in games. It might be okay for 3d modeling im not sure on that.

im not extrem gamer i jast want to injoy playng same games wenn i have free time
i know its not the best for gaming but its the cheapiest 4k tv , its beter then 1080p tv , so its ok for me !

All the 9 series cards, beginning with the 950, have HDMI 2.0 - a big difference from the AMD's cards. Don't know what AMD is thinking.
