GTX 980 Ti HELP !

Solution

The zotac should work fine with ek waterblock and any others, that zotac is a reference pcb and that'll be the easiest waterblocks to find.

And yeah you can overclock it just fine...I think that's 1000 Mhz base, just the basic one...I have the basic one but from evga and then I added the hybrid unit and backplate to it. I get it to around 1290 Mhz base clock and boost to around 1500 Mhz.
If you are going to water cool then just by the stock card. You'll get great temps and be able to overclock it very well. Plus, depending on which overclocked card you buy - the water block may not fit. Most water blocks are cut for the reference design. Save the money and buy a stock one.

Or buy an EVGA Hydro Copper with the water block already mounted.

ok but im looking to replace with waterblock. Will i be able overclock / boost higher then MSI 980 ti ?

I wouldn't really worry about which card is going to boost higher than the next. On a water block you should be able to get them equal or very close. And the difference is not going to be a drastic amount of FPS between them.

Stock Geforce 980 ti costs more then ZOTAC GeForce GTX 980 Ti.

Also i don't have that much money , but i will be able upgrade later with waterblock.

The best thing to do is find the type of water block you eventually want to mount and check the manufacturers website. There usually is a compatibility list somewhere.

IF you are going to put a waterblock on it, I honestly would be looking at if EK, Bitspowers or whoever makes a block for that card. I've had to sell plenty of video cards because I couldn't find a waterblock for non-reference version of the card. Or the block would be $200.

I suggest buying a reference card and the waterblocks will be super cheap in comparison. Also the max you are going to get out of ANY card is about 1500~ so why not just buy a reference card?
