I recently upgraded my GTX 770 to a GTX 980ti and my fps in minecraft has deteriorated. On my GTX 770 i ran minecraft at around 350 fps on max settings and since i've upgraded i only get around 100-250 FPS. I've been researching for a little now and have come across this post http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2758382/dxtory-lag-recording-minecraft.html with a guy saying he gets 1000+ fps with a GTX 980 ti and I7-4790k seeing that and not being able to find anything with similar problems (Probably because no one in their right mind would play minecraft with these specs) i decided to make an account and post to see what you guys would have to say about it.

Solution
Optifine, i'm guessing. He probably optimized his minecraft, look into it yourself as well.

Why do you care about FPS on minecraft anyways? It's a low action game.

My friends sometimes want to play Minecraft so i hop along and play for a bit. Was just wondering why my fps is worst then with my GTX 770 and for some recommendations. I'll try Optifine and see if that helps at all.
