GTX 980 ti - Silverstone SFX-L 500W PSU??

Hi all,

My current components:

Silverstone RVZ01 case
Silverstone sfx-l 500W psu
i7-4970k
16GB hyperx fury
500GB Evo ssd
256GB m.2
GTX 970

As luck would have it, the 980 ti comes out just as I'm in the middle of ordering my stuff. I'd love to go for the 980 ti, but not sure if my PSU can handle it with this build. Any suggestions would be great!

For a system with GTX 980 Ti you need 600w PSU or more.

Get new PSU if you will buy GTX 980 Ti , from Tier 1 or 2. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

A GTX 980 Ti's maximum draw is 275W while the Core i7 4970K requires about 88W. Adding them up you get about 363W for just the GPU and CPU. With a Mini-ITX board and limited amount of power draw from other devices, a quality 500W PSU should be enough.
