I am planning on buying a gtx 980 ti, the zotac amp extreme edition. I also plan to get 3 144hz 1080p monitors, and normally that wouldn't be a problem. However, i live near a micro center, and they have a deal on a monitor for $50 off. http://www.microcenter.com/product/433365/GN246HL_Bbid_24_3D_Full_HD_Widescreen_Monitor The thing is, i badly would like that savings, but that monitor doesn't have a displayport input. Since the 980 ti had 3 displayport, 1 dual-link dvi, and 1 hdmi, would that work? can the HDMI handle 144hz 1080, and can the DVI? can you adapt displayport to hdmi without quality loss? can you use different output types to run 3 moniters? Thank you all so much for your help in advance.

I have a similar setup as you with a 980ti and three monitor @ 60 hertz. My three monitors three didn't vhave dp connections either and I solved that by getting three dp to HDMI cables. Quality loss? No, it will look the same. Different output types? Yes, you can any combination of ports you want I stuck to dp ports since my HDMI port was being used by my 4k tv.

Does that cable support 144hz 1080p? I have read that not all versions of hdmi can transfer at that speed, and I didnt see it on the amazon product page. Thanks so much for your advice
