GTX 980 ti with 500w PSU?

Hi, I'm using an i5 with 8gb ram and an EVGA GTX 980 ti. Currently using 500w psu, should i upgrade my psu ? I'm planning on getting an 650w, or 750. It said minimal is 600w power supplies, and when i play games like Gta V, or The Division, it only use 50% of the card.

500W power supply is barely capable of running it, and only when it's a high end PSU. Go get yourself a EVGA G2 750W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1N83U90889&cm_re=evga_G2_750-_-17-438-017-_-Product) to be safe. Don't complain that you don't have money, because you bought a $650 graphics card.
