GTX 980M laptop in 2018 for 400€

There is this offer where I can get Asus Rog G752VY with 6700HQ, 8GB RAM, 980M 4GB with 1TB HDD and 256GB SSD for 400€ brand new with box, and 24 months warranty.

I know the 980M is still quite a power GPU and definitely more than enough for my needs but I just want to put my demons aside.

Is it worth it? I think it definitely is. Seeing others in similar rang go higher and 1060 Max-Q which is the closest stronger card laptops go 1000€+.

What do are your 2 cents.

A 980M isnt just a GTX 980 in Laptop size!
The performance of a 980M sits between a GTX 960 and a GTX 970. Not really sure if it is worth.
If you do not plan on playing the "latest an greatest" - Titles then it is a good deal.

Just think about it this way, if you are only thinking about price/performance:
What will you get with USD400? Probably max only some shitty I3 8xxx without dedicated GPU.
Looking from price/performance value, that is a good deal.

However, if you are looking for a gaming laptop with a real GTX1060, etc. That laptop might not be for you.
That laptop might not be strong enough for games you wanna play.

Is it a good deal? yes
Is it the best? no

For €400 it's an amazing deal imo.

€400 normally you would be hard pushed to get a decent laptop with an ssd & a secondary drive using Intel graphics let alone a dedicated gpu.
