Hey there,

So I am having trouble with having the NVIDIA drivers detecting my GPU.
When i go to install the driver, it tells me that it couldn't find the gtx980ti, i went through with contacting NVIDIA support, and they couldn't figure it out, well they said that they will get back to me. They recommended that i should check my bios version, and i found that it says its currently on version 1301, the latest is 1603. Could that be the problem?

Solution
Turn off pc.

Make sure the monitor cable is actually plugged into the 980 ti, and not the motherboard.

Turn pc back on, and try drivers again.

A lot of the time if you are accidentally plugged into the integrated graphics it will disable the graphics card so it wont show up to the system.
