GTX 980Ti EVGA FTW SLI Over Clocking - Voltage Cap?

Hello! I am running MSI afterburner as my OC software, and something I have noticed is that on my voltage monitor, even with core voltage turned up to +20mV and beyond, it never goes over 1.199V. Is this the max I can go on my cards or am I being limited by something?

have you made sure that you properly enabled the ability to change the voltage by clicking the voltage unlock option in the settings of MSI-A?

From what I understand, this is more or less the level of voltage that EVGA themselves set to be the limit for the card, meaning you can't go past it unless you flash a modded bios to the card that has no limit.

yes it is enabled in the settings. And I am assuming that it probably was set by EVGA but i'm not completely sure.

you're not the only one with a voltage limit of approx. 1.2v. Doing a quick google search for voltage limit evga 980ti ftw brought up posts in the evga forums and other places.
