Hi,
so i have gigabyte gtx 980ti that i got around 3 weeks ago.
Everything was working fine till now, all games on ultra settings and stuff.. today i was just working in photoshop and only chrome and powerpoint opened and suddenly display went black.
So i restared the pc first, nothing.. i tried changing from hdmi to dvi, didnt work either.
Then i plugged hdmi into motherboard and integrated gpu works just fine (hd530 - i76700k).
So i went to bios and it shows the pcie slot with my gtx980ti empty.
I tried changing psu cables... didnt help.
Then I took out the 980ti and inserted different gpu to the same slot and connected with the same cables and used the same monitor and hdmi cable as before and it all works.
So my only suspect is really that my 3 weeks old 980 failed :??:

Is there anything I could try or something or all I can do now is just to opt for replace?

Thanks so much...

Solution
Ok, yea it looks like the GTX 980ti just crapped out. The initial thought that it might be a PSU issue but that PSU is more then enough to power that system/GPU and it wouldn't be the MB since the other GPU worked. It looks like you were just unlucky and got a bad card.
cpu: i7 6700k @4.6ghz
gpu: gtx 980 ti
ram: hyperx fury 16gb 2400 ddr4 (2x 8gb sticks)
mb: msi z170a krait
ssd: 250gb samsung 850evo
hdd: 2x 1tb seagate barracuda 7200.14
psu: 850w evga

it all worked fine till like hour ago..

Agree'd only thing it can be is the gpu being bad. PCIE slot obviously is working and psu wouldn't be an issue because the rest of the system is still working so just RMA the card or depending on there you purchased it you could just take it back there and swap it out. Some pc stores have 30 return policies.

Yeah, the only problem is that I have to wait 4 days before I can return it, because in our country we have national this friday than weekend and then another national day and this shop doesnt work on these days :'(
