Hello.

Would it be beneficial at all to have my GTX 1060 6GB and my (old) Quadro 4000 in the same computer?

Can I do this at all?
Will Drivers conflict each other?
Can one be used for something like Phys-x while the other renders the game?
Is there any benefit to adding back in the Quadro?
How might I use them both if it is possible to have them running together?

Thanks

For use as a PhysX, the Quadro 4000 is actually pretty decent. 2GBs of dedicated GDDR5 will make for good improvements. However, as far as drivers go? As long as you install separate drivers at separate times, it should be fine. :)

A Quadro M4000 would be a neat PhsyX card, but not many current-gen titles use PhsyX.. If anything, adding the card might improve the system marginally, or prove faulty and give stutters. Milage varies when it comes to these kinds of things.

I still play BL2 and for some reason, PhysX is the biggest pooper. Oh, and another thing. Its not an M-4000. it's just a straight Quadro 4000.

So i'm not sure if such a large generational difference would cause driver issues.
