Gtx and Quadro on one pc?

No, you cannot use both of those cards at once. SLI can only be used with two of the same card. Unless it's an extremely expensive Quadro, you'll be fine with a decent gaming card. There isn't very much difference between the two.

I don't really understand your last sentence. Do you want someone to build you a computer? I would be happy to do that for only a small fee ($30, maybe).

I couldn't disagree more with kajabla. I use a Quadro for 3D CAD work because game cards do not work well and I use Nvidia GPUs for gaming because Quadros don't work well.

Are you going to be using more than one monitor?

You can have both a GeForce card and a Quadro card installed on the same motherboard as long as you don't expect to be using them in SLI mode because that just isn't possible. You will have to install the respective driver package for each card.

if the truth if I want to buy a new pc, and the person who is quoted me a new one, tell me if this is possible, so wonder if it is indeed possible, and I apologize for my English, I'm not very good!

but then if possible on a motherboard to connect the two cards? the person whom I will build my pc says that with gtx 570 and Quadro 2000 and a source of power for 950W minimum could be achieved

As two independent graphics cards with a monitor attached to each graphics card you certainly can.

If it's your profession then I would go with the workstation graphic cards [Quadro]. If this is for a hobby, you will be fine with a non-workstation graphic card. Choose between yourself. You can't SLI it but you can probably have them both installed but disable the slot through bios. Don't think that will do you any good.

My monitor is being run by the quadro and i just want the gtx for the cuda processing for Adobe Premiere...

but the drivers won';t recognise the gtx (even after installing the gtx versions)

any ideas how to get these to work together?

Hi, i have been looking into this, I have read that you can edit a text file that has a list of supported cards, then Premiere or After effects will be able to take advantage of GPU for processing.

It will have to be a modern nVidia card with the correct architecture.
I hope this helps, I havn't been able to test it because all our cards are supported.
