Hi. I ordered a EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1050 Ti graphics card for my computer in order to able to play Overwatch. Well after installing the card manually, downloading the Drivers to the computer and checking to make sure that the computer knew it was there (I used the dxdiag command and it saw that graphics card was there) I only experienced slight help, sadly i am still at unplayable frame rates and my graphics card just is not performing as intended. Please help me to understand and fix this issue. Thank you

how about you post your complete specs, and the settings and resolution you are trying to play overwatch at

Processor: AMD A4-6300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, build 14393)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
What else do you need to know?

I also have 8 gigs of RAM
My computer is also prebuilt, dont know if that will affect it.

It's likely you are limited by your CPU. Try a couple of things to check. One, run the game at medium settings, at 720p then at 1080p(assuming you have a 1080p monitor). Do you get much higher framerate at 720p than you do at 1080p? If the answer is no, if you get just about the same framerate no matter what resolution you are using, this means your CPU is working as hard as it can in this game and it simply can't do better. This would explain why a better videocard isn't helping you.

How do i change the resolution of my monitor?

a dual core is not good enough, you need to upgrade your cpu

an athlon x4 compatible with your motherboard will do it

How do i know if a processor is compatible with my motherboard or not?
