[SOLVED] GTX or RX advice...

Hello all.

I was wondering if i could get some expert advice on these two graphics cards. Which one is best or are they mostly equal?

RX 580 Black Edition 8gb gddr5

or

GTX 1660 TI 6gb gddr6

system is a build i will put together this coming friday specs:

Ryzen 5 2600
mobo: asus tuf gaming x570-plus wifi
corsair vengeance 16gb @3600
700 corsair psu
1tb ssd

Which card?

I know after some research....the rx is still considered a pretty good gaming gpu. Also the ti. 4k does not matter. thx

1660Ti destroys RX 580 no questions asked.
RX 580 is bassically the ultimate budget card
1660Ti has similar performance to gtx 1070,which is way above rx 580

Best? Gtx 1660 ti. But if you're on a budget, the rx 580 is still a very good card for 1080p gaming.

1660 Super is your best choice.

Yeah, you might consider a 1660 SUPER, simply because it's really close to the performance level of the 1660 Ti, within a few percent or so, and is generally priced better. It's probably not worth paying more than $10 more for a 1660 Ti over a 1660 SUPER, but there's typically more like a $40 price difference between the lowest-priced models of the two, at least in the US.
