GTX Titan quick question.

Hi People.

I have recently bought a Gigabyte GTX Titan. The Core GPU should be 836 and boost about 876 (roughly) but when in game it says 1006mhz. I know GPU boost 2.0 is active and is boosting the card but shouldn't it only boost to 876 as it is supposed to?

gpu boost II will boost the gpu up to the max thermal limits of the card. so if your case is well ventilated and cool, then gpu boost II will keep ramping up the gpu frequency until the temps get up over 80C

It depends on what you have the Power Target and Temperature Target set to. If it's set to their maximum then you will see the boost clock reach 1006 MHz or higher. ht4u.net was able to reach a boost clock of 1102 MHz with the Power Target set at its maximum during their review of the Titan.

If the Power Target and Temperature Target is set to their default setting then the boost clock should be 876 MHz.
