GTX upgrade Advice

Hi.

I currently have an EVGA GTX 670 FTW and am looking for an upgrade on a very tight budget of around £250, first of all please DO NOT suggest AMD cards.

I have an Intel I5-3570K with 16 gig ddr3 and as I said a GTX 670 FTW what I really want to know is if the EVGA GTX 960 FTW 4GB version is a big upgrade I used GPUBoss but it gave very limited information. I am currently playing Ark Survival which is the main reason for the upgrade.

For 250 get a 970 and overclock it!

960 is not much of an upgrade, I went from 670 to 780ti and love the difference, you'll want a 970 or higher, if not you may want to wait.

The Nvidia GTX 970 would be a great option for your budget. But due to your budget, the only GTX 970 what you can get for under £250 is Gigabyte Nvidia Gtx 970 Mini Itx and the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 Blower Graphics Card. They may not look too great for you, but if you want the performance over the look, then these graphics card are your choice.

Given the drop in 390 prices its a more attractive option for the same performance, but yes I'd spend a bit more for a decent 970 if you are set on nvidia

Easy. Any non reference GTX 970 which having a better cooling solution, will allow for an easy overclock with literally no effort!

would my gtx 670 ftw be of any use, I remember when they first came out you could use other cards to run purely just the tessellation. or any value in reselling it?
