GTX1060 Two Monitos - VGA and DVI

Hi. I have a main monitor using my 1060 dvi connection, works fine.
But now I want to use other monitor at same time, but this monitor only have a VGA connection.
I want to buy a displayport to vga adapter and use on this monitor, I saw videos showing this working, but my question is: Is this going to work with TWO monitors using extended desktop?

They should work in extended desktop mode. IF the resolution of the two monitors is not the same then windows may be different sized on the two monitors or the two monitors won't align properly. But they should function.

In addition to what kanewolf wrote, I run a main monitor (1920x1080) and secondary monitor (1680x1050) using and extended desktop via DVI and VGA respectively. It can work. But alignment may be an issue depending on what you intend to do.
