Gtx1080 30fp only

Hi guys . I recently bought a gtx 1080 used to have a gtx 960. The problem is . With my 960 i had 60 fps or somewhere around it. Now with the 1080 i have 30 fps doesnt matter if its ultra or medium settings in games. What happened to my pc ?

When you are gaming what is your CPU and GPU usage?. Also did you remove the nvidia drivers and reinstall them since swapping the GPU?

Depending on the game there is sometimes an option to set vsync at half your monitor's refresh rate. So if you have a 60Hz monitor it will cap your fps to 30. Just double check your settings.
