GTX260 Zotac(196) or 4870HD Force3D(512MB)

So my friend has offered me to swap his 260GTX for my 4870HD. I was just wondering which one would be better? He wants it simply because the ATi cards glitch on CSS and he is a avid CSS player. I looked at a lot of benchmarks and stuff and couldn't really get an accurate answer to what this thread is titled so I thought I would ask you guys.
Just so you know my specs are:
E8400 @ 4.00Ghz
4GB DDR2 800Mhz
Those are just quick specs just incase these make a difference in which graphics card I choose. If anyone has an opinions then please go for it and back your self up with some kind of source if you would be so kind. Thanks.

HD 4870 performs better than a GTX 260 196SP,so go for HD 4870.

I heard if OC'd the GTX 260 could out perform? Do you know if this is true? He could just give me a bit money on the side btw :\

Well even if you oc the GTX 260
You could OC the 4870.

Whenever I OC the 4870 it goes even slower and by the way, it turns out it is a 216 if this makes any big difference.

From what i know and have researched on the 2 cards

The GTX 260 216SP is the faster card, only by around 5FPS though. Still if your swapping id say do it, better performance stock, then OC it for even more performance!

Both cards are almost identical. The 260 will show up faster in older benchmarks but the 4870 1gb wins most of the recent ones.

The 260 definitely tends to overclock better however...though nothing is guaranteed.

Why not swap for a few days and try it out?

Tbh, both cards are so closely matched i'd be amazed if any of you noticed any differences.
