Hey all! Im new to the forum and hope to stay!
So I got a really bad graphic card that I bought 2 years ago for a really low price... GTS250.
I live in Israel, we don't have black fridays, maybe rarley but nothing good ever shows up... BUT as I own two toy stores, I have a supplier which can get me a GTX560TI for 15% discount from an already nice price - 240$ (Which is very low in here, anyway).
The problem is, it only has 1 GB of VRAM, which might be a problem in games like BF3, Skyrim, Diablo 3 etc. so I was thinking about spending abit more and buying a Radeon something for a little more, which will give me better graphics as they have better value for money. Just for reference; Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 costs exactly the same as the GTX560TI befor discount, but I wont get any discount on the Radeon as my supplier dosn't work with them.
So... I would really like to get some recommendations on which way to go, if the Radeon is worth the extra money for preformance, etc. Budget is around $250-300. Please note that I will need to buy a new power supplier for Radeon as they need more voltage, I only got 550W. A 700W supplier costs about $100~ here.
My speccs: (note that I am upgrading to 6/8GB ram and W7 64 bit)
Intel 2.50GHz 4mb 2 quad Q8300 with two fans, 550W and 2gb of ram, atm.
Thanks SO much in advance, and sorry for any misspelling. Have a nice day/night!
EDIT: Can also get the Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7850 OC 2GB GDDR5 and the Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 DUAL FAN 2GB GDDR5 for the same price, which is better if we go for Radeon? :)
Another edit: I can choose the 7850 OC from Sapphire, MSI, Gigabyte and Asus, in that order for price. Which one to choose if I choose that? :) Sorry for much posting..

Hey, Im sorry if I misinformed you guys, I got confused and cought up in digging the web for info about those that I miss read. I can get the Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 DUAL FAN 2GB GDDR5, not the regular version, for the same price as the 7850 from Sapphire. I also get to choose from Sapphire, MSI, Gigabyte and Asus, in that order for price. Which one is the best? The price diff from Sapphire to Asus is $30~.

I don't think they can send to Israel, and if so it will be much higher price, as it's a 20 hour flight from US to IL.
From eBay a 560TI costs $160, while an additional $60 for shipment, and it dosn't have warrenty.

Ok so I checked, and Sapphire has 920MHz/5000MHz, while Gigabyte has 975/4800.
Which one is better? What does Engine and Memory MHz do? Is there any difference between those two what so ever?

as for the topic

try to spend a bit of extra cash and get a sapphire hd6950 Dirt 3 edition. the extra cost will compensate for the super big cooler and free dirt 3 ...this is prolly the best 6950 around rite now
