Yes the gtx 650ti is much faster than the hd 6770 ( almost 35-40%). The gtx 650ti is even faster than the hd 7770 leave lone the 6770...

Yeah its a tad bit better I would recommend you going for the 650 ti boost edition
the price difference is small for a very noticeable performance boost!
for an AMD equivalent, a 7790 or 7850 would match up
