Hey guys,
I never had a problem with my GTX680 running games until the TitanFall Beta.
It seems that I could not run the game at all High Settings and get a stable 60FPS, I often see my FPS dip a lot in certain areas of the game. For example, outdoor fights usually do not lag, but once I enter buildings and closed areas, my frames just drop off a cliff, I'm seeing 20ish FPS.
So I decided to turn down my settings to all medium, but the same thing happens... I get massive FPS drops indoors. I even had anti-aliasing turned off with anistropic filtering down to 8x from 16x.
My little brother runs a gtx 580 and runs on all high settings smoothly and above 60FPS at all times, I am just distressed my GTX 680 can't replicate the same performance a GTX580 can.
I've tried MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision, but I don't understand how to boost the card correctly. I set the power to 132%, clock boost to +150 mhz and shader clock to +150mhz, any higher and the game crashes... (No idea why... my max GPU temperature is always around 65C which is pretty low so why is my overclock headroom so low?
note: I am running 334.89 for my drivers, and in nVidia control panel, i have defaults on with image setting set to "let 3d application decide"
Any contribution would be much appreciated! Thanks again for reading/replying.
