Hey guys I am new to custom built computers and I am having issues with my new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760. I purchased this computer through a website (ncix.com) and they built it for me at the shop then sent it in mail. When I recieved it everything works great except the hdmi hookup on the back of the graphics card. the DVI port works fine ( currently using it right now ) but when I hook up the HDMI cord to the monitor it says no signal. I have tried the cord and monitor on my xbox and it works right away ( I do remember to switch the monitor to hdmi ) Ive tried going into the nvidia control panal but could not find anything to change. What would be the next things to try out? Here are the specs of my computer

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Intel Core i5 5670k
ASUS Gryphon Z87 mATX

Any help at this point would be great. Thanks in advance

There are alot of ways to go about this. 1) Call for help. Just make a few calls to Acer, and the store you purchased the gpu and monitor, and any others involved in the process and just see if they can pinpoint the problem, and possibly try to get a replacement. 2) get a new HDMI cable.
The monitor and card are very well built, my guess is that it is the cable.

Sorry for the late response work got busy. I have tried the hdmi cord straight into the mother board and removed the graphics card. This time it worked right away with no issues. when I plug my graphics card back in and plug the hdmi cord into the graphics card, there is no display, any other suggestions?
