GTX780 Lightning Showing as GTX780

So I've been using my GTX 780 Lightning since August, no problems at all, only that the GeForce Experience panel shows it as being a GTX 780, as does every game I have played when adjusting graphic settings.

I've been told that this would lead to the GPU running as if it were just a standard 780, and not the Lightning edition.

I'm essentially just trying to get confirmation on whether this is the case, and if so, how to make my system recognise that it is a Lightning edition, instead of the standard model.

Any tips or thoughts from you guys would be much appreciated.

The only difference between your Lightning and the std. GTX 780 is a factory OC, right? What would you expect it to show up as?
