Hello,
almost everyone have heard about the new drivers so i wont go into detail about that. Just installed it, went few times driver is not responding and after restart black screen. I did DDU i could get into Windows again but cant install any GPU drivers whatsover (Tried the newest to some last year 352 it think). I reinstalled Windows ( clean install ) did bios reset few times and still always when i try to install it always go black screen in the middle of the instalation and cant get into Windows anymore, just a safe mode and do DDU again.
- Is that possible that the new driver could kill the card ?
- Should i try switching PCI ports or any other hardware could be dead ?

SPEC
GPU - Evga GTX 780
MB - Z87-G45 gaming
CPU - Intel Xeon E3-1230 v3 ( it does not have integrated GPU )
RAM - 16 GB (not important i guess)
HDD - SSD for Windows, 3x harddrive ( i mention it if it could be something blocking it for example virus, lettting know just to be sure)
OS - Windows 10 64bit

I appreciate any help and wont stop looking for solution until i am sure that my beauty is resting in Silion Heaven ( Red Dwarf anyone ? :) )

Thank you

Stupid how drivers can bork a card. It would be nice to know exactly what this driver is doing to it. So far the fix is to use ddu and all should be good afterwards using a previous driver you would think.

Maybe try give another pcie slot a go. I doubt Nvidia's driver impacted your motherboard but changing slots might do something positive and try changing back later if it works out.

Trying another video out on the card if your monitor accepts multiple inputs might be worth a try.

what he needs is another back up card to test with on the board or test that card in another computer to se if its the card ??

I guess it all part of the reason there manufactures went from offering a life time warrantee to a 2 maybe 3 year .. shows how bad things are and how cheap things are made today

Guys card is probably broken and is coming to Silicon Heaven :-( EVGA is super cool and fast. Already dealt with support and they acknowledge my warranty.

Anyway drivers broke my card thats for sure :-(
