Hi guys, i'm building rig for BF4, and sometimes video editing, so which GPU can you advice to buy?

780ti brings in benchmarks(demo) kills R9 290X, but AMD featuring their Mantle, that would bring new API and may be show more fps in BF4:

780ti:
-more powerful
-Shadow Play
-great overclockable
-G-Sync
-700$

R9 290X:
-TrueAudio
-Mantle
-AMD supporting FrostBite, thats actually BF4's engine
-bad oveclocking and fan sounds like a jet on reference model, however there isn't any reviews on non-reference models, because they aren't actually realized
-600$

I'm going to play it in 1920:1080 resolution

So far we have very little clue to what Mantle will bring to us when BF4 got patch to support the API in December. if you can hold out until proper test being made with AMD mantle then it would be better.

I got the 290x after being nvidia all day everyday. I too was keen on a change and interested in mantle. I use windows 8.1 and have had plenty of issues with radeon and its drivers. I cant believe I made the change. I am going back to nvidia, 780ti style. Anyone want a cheap 290x lol.

just gonna copy and paste my post from another thread

normally I ask the questions not answer them, but i just got 2 of these upgrading from 2 titans. (sold my titans to my roommate who works in design for the cost of the 780Ti's plus shipping) and totally worth it. OC'd both cards to 1276 with reference coolers with no problems. temps never go above 70C even in BF4 ultra settings. Better framerates, better temps, faster cards. just worth it all around.

A few people are coming back and saying that unfortunately.

If you have the money get the 780 TI, not a fanboy but have always had a good luck with nvidia cards, not to mention that card should last for a while before needing a another upgrade

^+1 Agreed

How cheap are we talking?

And how much do you want for it ?? P.S. i am from spain
