GTX970 G1 only 256 mb

So i have just built my pc and i went to directx diagnosis tool and it shows that my gpu only has 256 mb of memory, is this something with intel integrated graphics? How do i solve this.

Go to BIOS and turn ON PCIe graphics adaptor.

You need to connect the cable to the card video card outputs and not the intel graphics port.
