GTX970 or GTX1060 in 2018?

Hello, so I found a good deal for GTX970, the GTX1060 is badly overpriced...
- Palit GTX970 4GB is less than $250 (NEW)
- ANY GTX1060 3/6GB is more than $400 in my country...

So technically I can afford both, but thing is that if I get GTX970, later I would have money for PS4 Slim... and if I get the overpriced GTX1060 (any GB model) I think that would be overspending.
What would you go for? Help me decide.

970 is a tad slower, but, if you can find one for $250, probably a good deal....

970 is more like GTX1060 3GB in performance. But most often factory overclocked 970 perform almost as good as 1060 6GB. Looking at the price difference that 970 is not a bad deal for you.

Still a good card , will do high settings on just about any title.

I have a 580 8gb in one rig & a 970 in the other.

Spend most of my gaming time on the 970 one.

If there was any extreme difference I would have swapped them over by now.
