GTX980 or wait for new amd release

Sup, currently building a new rig with a 1440p monitor... Should i wait for amds release to come out or should i buy the gtx980? will be wanting to max out games like the witcher 3 and new releases, Thanks

The 980 will be plenty of power for 1440p. The AMD offering might be a bit faster when it is released but I believe you would have to wait until June to get one.
