gtx980 ti msi g6 all games reduced to 97 fps

i have gtx 980 ti msi g6,f1 2015 was running at 144 fps, assetto corsa at 110 fps and project cars at 100 +. now all these games are running at 92-97 fps.
My pc crashed couple of times when playing project cars, and after that i noticed the reduced fps to 97 on all games, also pc crashed when i over clocked it. any suggests why the reduced frame rate.

If you overclocked it, it may be heating up more than usual, leading to FPS reduction and crashing. Do you have an aftermarket cooler or stock cooler? If you have a stock cooler, an aftermarket cooler would be better if overclocking.
