Hey guys,
i looking to buy a new graphic card.
Between Inno3D 6GB DDR5 GTX980Ti iChill x4 Ultra and zotac GTX1060 AMP! Edition 6GB GDDR5 which should i choose?
Just found it sold in same price

You're not wrong that a 980Ti is better, but what you said is completely wrong about clock speed. A 1060 boosts upwards of 18-1900MHz, while a good overclock on a 980Ti is in the ~1500MHz range.

Either way, frequency is not a good way to directly compare these two generations of cards.

not at all, the 980Ti has a base clock of 1750, while the 1060 has only 1500, and with boost clock 1900 to 1700

And that's irrelevant. The only way to directly compare clockspeed and use it as a measure of performance is when comparing 2 cards of the same manufacturing process and generation. The 980 Ti is based on a 28nm architecture while the 1060 is based on the newer 16nm arch. You are correct in that the 980 Ti is faster but not for why you're saying it is. :)

A stock GTX 1070 is roughly equal to an overclocked 980 Ti. The GTX 1060 compares to the GTX 980.

No, wrong again. The reference 980Ti only has a base clock of 1000MHz, with factory overclock models varying between 11-1200MHz, and boost frequencies going from 13-1500MHz. I've owned two 980Tis (and two Titan X, which operated at similar speeds), and the only way in hell you could get upwards of 1600 is with sub-zero cooling.
