please help me out
my desktop specs is intel core 2 duo 2.80GHz E7400
2x1GB RAM DDR2, nvidia geforce GT610 2GB DDR3 graphic card
Window 7 Ultimate 64bit
how much RAM can i put on this system and which brand's RAM should i buy
i want to upgrade to 4 to 6 GB

Just letting you know, your graphics card memory size is totally different to your actual RAM. That aside its currently running 2x1gb sticks which means you could upgrade to 2x4gb (8gb) or 2x2gb (4gb) sticks of ram.
