Thinking of overclocking my fx 6300 from stock 3.5 to 4.0 but im noob at this overclocking stuff and should i disabled amd turboturbo core technology and amd cool&quite.

System specs:

Mobo - MSI 990 FXA-GD65 V2
GPU - SAPPHIRE R9 27OX OC 2GB VRAM
Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212X
Ram - Corsair Vengeance 4x2
Psu - Cooler Master B500 500 watt.

You probably will be able to OC to at least 4.3ghz without liquid cooling. Also disable AMD Turbo as it will lock the processor from overclocking in Turbo as it basically boosts it twice and will probably fry.Be careful though with your mobo as its not the best for overclocking. I'd recomend a MSI 970 Gaming or the others listed down below.

I increased the multiplier by 20 to achive 4ghz but i didn't change the volts of cpu its at auto.Booted successfully and run prime95 for about 2 hours and didn't get any errors so is my oc stable.

Nice OC. Most OC's are considered stable when running max load prime95 for 1h-2h. If you want increase the voltage and try achieving a higher clock speed. Keep an eye on your temps as most CPU's run badly at 85 degrees +. Maybe post the OC to AMD Overclockers Club on this Forum if you want. :) remember to choose a best solution :)

From what I've managed to find his board should be fine for overclocking a 6300 since it can support 8*** series and has a 8+2 power phase, it looks like the 1st version may have had some issues though. Also in the same list you posted his is mid range where as the one you recommend is budget tier.

If you want a higher OC don't raise the voltage 1st. Raise the multiplier until you fail a stress test then raise the voltage in small steps until you pass but only if your temps allow.
So yes keep an eye on the temps but 62c is widely regarded as the upper limit for prolonged use so aim to be under that. You would be being throttled back for safety if you ever got near 85c on the 6300.

Just checked out a review with your PSU aswell, you may want to be careful with that as it doesn't appear to be great. If you're adding more voltage to the CPU you have to consider that too. http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/4642/8/three-500-watt-psus-tested-antec-vp550f-cooler-master-b500-and-nexus-nx-5000-v1-capacity-and-voltages

Oh.... I didn't check it that much but i got my FX8320E to 4.5 Ghz with MSI 970 gaming air cooling but i got 4.3 with the MSI 990FX on another FX8320E.
Maybe something to do with the sillicon lottery......
