Guild war 2 races and classes

hello comrades!


So this weekend will be a guild wars 2 beta weekend and I can't wait! Since the guardian class has now replaced the monk class I think I will give it a try. I can't decide between norn and the charr.... I think I'll try the warrior or guardian class first. Then the engineer cause that class looks interesting. During the beta the races will be limited, but I am not sure about the clases. I believe the available races will be human, norn, and charr. What races and classes will you guys be playing as?

i like the look of a charr warrior although its a bit mainstream, but with the beta i get to give them al a whirl, i also like the look of the engineer and thief.

yeah, my first class in Guild Wars was a warrior 😛. I felt like a badass though!

I'm also torn between norn or sylvani or charr. Each race sounds awesome.

As for classes, I'm looking to make a ranger and/or engineer, but I'd like to check out mesmers and elementalists too. Heavy armor classes I typically don't like the play style but I love armor designs and such, so maybe even one of those, a guardian as you said since seems to be analogous to monk class.

I mean you can tell that my brain is going nuts as I cannot make up my mind because everything looks so cool XD what can I say, I've only played 2 other mmos before this, and both of them had sprite graphics...

I'll be making a mesmer first. Played mesmer as my main in the original and looking forward to playing it again in GW2. I'll definitely be making one of each of the classes just to fool around with for my alts. As far as race: Not sure...for the beta I'll probably just create a human, but upon release it'll be sylvari or asura for my main.

A fair question, I fancy a guess and will say that it will depend on conditions
