I’m pretty computer illiterate so shopping for a new laptop that can handle this game has been relatively mind numbing with a) being on a very small budget ($420 & lower), not really knowing where the better deals are, and c) having so many different hardware names and number thrown at my face.

I also hear tell that and AMD processor isn't well suited for gaming or, specifically, playing GW2. Though there are arguments stating otherwise. Though it has an AMD A8 processor, wouldn't this still be pretty slow in a busy game like GW2 if it's coming it at 1.9 GHz? Oh Best Buy online... why are you the easiest and seemingly cheapest to shop..?

That said, any help and/or guidance as to what will suffice and what just wont cut it regarding this laptop/for the game would be sweet. I’m not to hard up on graphic as much as I am performance(if that with this system). Maybe a desk top would be better? I obviously don’t know…

Thank you so very much for taking the time to read of this! 😍

So it looks like the specs of that laptop are pretty good. I dont normally recommend AMD processors. The intel Core family is usually superior to just about anything. That being said I think this laptop should be able GW no problem. Also, for future reference, no processor is really suited for gaming. They are made to run at certain speeds and process certain amounts of data in a certain amount of time. People who say that AMD is bad for games are probably just dire hard Intel fans and vise versa. If you have any other questions just post!
