I finally spend a few bucks on a decent video card. Now I can see better when I get shot playing CounterStrike. I have an odd problem. I've not been able to run any (read HalfLife and Wintune's Directx primary driver test) video apps successfully with my AGP window set higher than 16mb. I have 128mb ram, incidentally. The sad thing is that CS still runs so much better than with my Stealth III that I almost don't give a damn. But I thought I'd ask... Anyone have any ideas about that? (besides contact the manufacturer. did that.) Any similar experiences?

if you mean the aperture size when talking about a "window" then you have an AGP stability problem (AGP aperture size of <= 16MB turns AGP texturing off !).

go to AGP 1x from 2x or 4x, turn fast writes off, install latest motherboard drivers.
