Hey, I have been out of the PC building game since...2003? Anyways, I have a Dell Inspiron 531. I went out and bought a Ati Radeon HD 5750 and 600w powersupply. Upon hooking this up and connecting HDTV to it, I decided it needs an entire makeover.

I want to get this Mobo/Processor combo. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6744649&Sku=B69-4484

Should I have any problems with my HD, RAM or anything else? Will I be ok to just swap everything out and upgrade the HD and RAM next (slowly)

The ram I have now is 2GB of 667-MHz, 800-MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

Thanks for any assistance anyone can give.

Your RAM looks fine, and I would guess your HDD is compatible, but you might wanna check to make sure it's a SATA drive.

Thats the specs of what my system has right now, completely stock, minus the powersupply and gfx card.

But If I were to buy this mobo/processor combo, is it just as easy as ground yourself and swap everything out? Sorry :X As I said, I havent done this in years and forgot most of what I knew.

Also, the processor offered in the combo is a quad core. I...didnt even know these existed. Last time I checked, dual core just hit the market. Haha.

So, would the quad core vs my single core 2.3GHz processor drastically increase my FPS in WoW? Which is what I do mainly, and from what I hear, is a CPU heavy game.

Thanks again!
