Question Guys i am very confused in building pc or buying a high end laptop

i am learning 3D animation, Modeling etc. i play games a lot (like PUBG, Apex legends etc) so i wanted a laptop(ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 2 RTX 2060 (GL504GV) but my friends says i should build a Desktop with same spec or better. i want games on the go. they say Desktop are better in performance but that laptop gives enough FPS for the games i play. what should i do!!!!!

It is a simple choice, really. If mobility is an absolute must, then laptop it is. Otherwise, get desktop.

A lot of people purchase laptops "for mobility" only to later keep using them at the same desk for years just like a classic desktop. Could have saved a lot of money, get better performance and upgradeability only if they gave a thorough thought about this before making the purchase.
