8gb ram
fsp raider 750w
antec 902

the first one that i nought is 280x dual x, after 3 weeks (i think?) it stopped giving signal, went to the shop were i bought it for rma, replaced it with 280x vapor x tri x, now this is what happened,

i diidnt anything to this gpu, didnt oc it, didnt dissasemble it, as for temps, its idle is 35c, well, its the philippines, 58c at load..

played bf2,bf3,bf4,cod aw,cod ghost,ryse,MOH 2010,moh warfighter on 7770 vapor x..

tried playing with 280x on games i said above, no artifacts (if that is artifacts)

but when i play saints row,gta 4 +eflc, far cry, i see this..

bf4 is more hungry than those two, but still want to play it cause i bought it..

please help..

am using 14.12 omega, dint have any plans on goin back cause my internet is capped at 300mb a day,10 gb a month, (welcome to the philippines!) so, no online gaming for me, as for the drivers, o downloaded 14.12, its 290mb,

as for the game, i played eflc on my hd 7770 vapor x smoothly, not on ultra though, and the shadows were great, when i switched to 280x , was able to play on ultra, but as you can see in the videos, those flickering or artifacts shows up, but when i lowered it to high, the game is good, but the shadown, especially if youre under the railway (train), the shadow looks pixelized, man, this was the first card (on the higher end) that i bought, also as a xmas gift for myself, was planning on upgrading to intel for my cpu, but i guess not anymore..

Do a clean driver uninstall then reinstall the omega drivers. Also run Unigine Valley benchmark. If artifacts persist after CLEAN driver reinstall and show up in valley then its a bad card and you should have it exchanged.

Far Cry , Watch Dogs and GTA4 are all games i also had artefacts at certain settings, driver versions and before patches -> its the game, not your card.

Test using Unigine Valley - > if you see any glitches there then you indeed have a problem.

ok, ill just get back on you emdea22, do you still see/have artifacts on those?

and whats driver are you using, ill download unigine, saw its 342 mb,wow! my net is capped at 300mb a day, well, id rather test it, thanks man!

well, the download is still not finished, where did you download the old drivers? am afriad to install the old cd driver that came with the card, cause when s*** goes crazy, ill have to reformat my pc, which is beyond my knowledge. can i run 2 drivers at the same time

anyway, sapphiretech replied on my email. maybe they didnt watch the video though. cause they asked about my vbios, and said to install the latest driver, which i already have. always been a fan of sapphire, but man. the help that i got from them sucks, thinking about selling my cpu mobo and gpu. never got the chance to use an intel and nvidia platform, maybe its time..

as im the only one among my friends whise using amd hardware..

You need to completely remove old drivers:
Part1
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/GPU57RemoveOldGraphicsDrivers.aspx
Before you reboot also run this
http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/16748/
then reboot and install latest omega drivers (don't overclock)
if this doesn't solve it go to part 2
Part2
280x GPUs should have dual bios - 1 legacy and 1 UEFI - you can enable one or the other using a switch on the card
https://i.imgur.com/4ow2BPu.jpg -> test the other BIOS sometimes it fixes everything

Part3
If all the above fails then do a chipset driver update and make sure you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard (make sure you check your mobo revision when doing a BIOS update)

If everything fails then you have a bad card and you should return it. Don't test on GTA tho ! use valley and newer games like BF4

edit: it may be necessary to re-install your motherboard chipset drivers after part1 (usb might not work) just make sure you get the latest ones for your mobo http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/support-downloads.aspx

okay, if i was to use uefi, how do i do that? do i have to restart my pc then click the switch for uefi, or can i turn it on w/o restarting my pc..
