i know its too much for 1080p, but i would like to take it because in the future the games will recommend 2060 and more than that.So i have amd ryzen 5 3400g not overclocked 16gb ram and 530 watt bronze plus there will be a bottleneck between cpu amd ryzen 5 3400g and rtx 2060 and if there's bottleneck how much ?

Solution
If you got some money burning a hole in your pocket get a 1080p monitor. To have a 1440p capable card with a sub 1080p monitor makes zero sense.
Games in 2021 will still be fine on your 1660, sure you'll get higher frames on a 2060 with ray tracing off. But you can bet games in 2021 will be taking full advantage of Ray Tracing technology and the 2060 will be under 60FPS if you want the eye candy. If you want to be truly ready for the 2021 games just wait for the 3000 series and perhaps upgrade your CPU and monitor till then.
If you only care about a good deal then just get the 2060.

tennis2 yeah i know but i found a msi rtx 2060 ventus only 320 euros on my country so the main question i did earlier is the bottleneck between cpu and gpu where i reported before how much percent is ?

Depends on the game and settings. Some the CPU will be the bottleneck some the video card will be.

You should remove the word bottleneck from your vocabulary.

It's not like your using a 50 buck processor and a 800 buck video card.

Yeah its true a ryzen 5 3400g and msi rtx 2060 ventus 6g oc they're going to work great together or opposite of it?

Seems to me if your getting it for future games, and your happy enough for today with the 1660, the future 3000 series is the way to go.
But I don't think you'll encounter any problems with a 2060 and your CPU

Look i would take it now because its the chance to take it cheaper than it was few months before

Sorry I kinda misread your question.

The Ryzen 5 3400G is a 4 cores 8 thread CPU and it should be fine with the RTX 2060.

The only problem is that the 3400G its actually a Ryzen 2xxx Zen+ CPU it has around 1/3 of the L3 cache of the Ryzen 5 line (2600 and 2600X).

So yeah, it wont be horrible but it wont be as fast as using, for example, the Ryzen 3 3300X.

If the RTX 2060 its really cheap and you can't/want to wait for the new GPUs, then go ahead!

Make sure your PSU is decent model, from a well known brand wth at least 500watts.

This, absolutely this!

Do NOT rely on any "bottleneck calculators" because they are complete garbage, and the term "bottleneck" when it comes to computing has been misused to the point of uselessness.

There is no "perfect" match of CPU to GPU. No such thing.

It's all a matter of:
  • monitor refresh rate
  • monitor resolution
  • if your monitor has FreeSync, GSync, or neither
  • what specific games you're playing.
You have a 1920x1200 monitor. So, you have 11% more pixels than a 1920x1080 monitor. Your 1660 is still pretty good for gaming at 60Hz.

For some games, the GPU might be the weak link, for others, the CPU might be the weak link.

Exactly what performance are you looking for? Average better than 60fps? Absolutely NEVER dipping below 60fps? Are high/ultra details required, or will you turn them down some.

In what way is your current GPU holding you back?

Look, all games that i play are absolutely never go below from 60 fps but, in the near future and specifically in 2021 the companies will announce the new 3000 rtx so for this reason i wanted buy the 2060 i play everything at max without worry about upgrading and etc

I wouldn't do that.

The RTX 3000 series is being rumored to have almost 2x the "ray tracing capability" compared to RTX 2000. The RTX2060 basically can only do minimal ray tracing at 1080p before FPS tanks too low to be playable.

RTX 3000 series will also be 7nm (as opposed to 12nm) and/so will be more energy efficient.

Wait.

If your current video card is doing what you want, then stick with it.

Why buy a better card now, for a problem that you may or may not run into in the future?

If there's ever a point where you DO run into a performance problem in the future, then buy something then. At that point in the future, the same money you would have spent on the 2060 today will probably get you something that's more powerful than the 2060.

€320 isn't particularly cheap for a 2060.

Theres nothing wrong with pairing a 2060 and a 3400g But when you're already running a 1660 and hitting 60fps constant it makes absolutely no sense.

Buy a new GPU when you need to, not just 'because'.

Stuff is over inflated price wise at the moment still, buy something current 18 months to 2 years down the line is my advice.
