Hi, guys i know my build is not for bragging rights and another thing i am only 12, so i don't need i7 because it is too expensive and other i dont need that, so basically i would be gaming.. so here we go!!
Intel core 2 duo E8400 @3.00 Ghz,
4 Gb RAM,
320 Gb HDD,
Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 2gb 128Bit,
That's it , i wanna hear your comments about it plz..

are you buying new? then get a core i3 or pentium g3xxx series processor with h81 motherboard (asus/gigabyte), with 4GB ram and 500GB hdd and gtx 750/750ti or radeon hd 7770 instead of the gtx 650. 2GB vram only raises it's price, 1GB is more suitable and cards with gtx 650 and 1GB video memory tend to be cheaper.

i like to see today's youth get into tech! ahem, makes me feel old too....i digress but anyway build looks good so far, what motherboard are you going to purchase? make and model. that cpu looks to be for the old lga775 motherboard so where do you plan on buying it? also do you have enough in yoru budget to get this harddrive

also what case and powersupply are you getting make and model

and i think this is a better graphics card and it's on sale for 120 dollars. for the mail in rebate it'll be 110 dollars at newegg

I think you are going to get some bottle necking out of that CPU. You might want to consider upgrading it to a QXXX CPU.

I like Roy's suggestion of getting a new motherboard and CPU all together. It depends on your budget.

if he's upgrading is existing pc (he still hasn't answered if he's buying new or not), then the gfx card has to be able to fit inside the case, yes? unless he has the wider, micro tower version, i don't see how this is possible without a riser. moreover, gtx650 will need airflow to operate. those dell cases look cramped.

Hopefully this is the mid tower version and not a slim tower. I would probably want a GTX 750, maybe a 750ti, for this system. The power supply might not be able to handle much more than that. The E8400, despite its age, is still a fairly decent little CPU. It can hang with sandy and ivy celerons and pentium G's.
