My freind is giving me a amd hd 6870 1gb @ 92$.....................
Plz tell me will this be able to play all the latest games on ultra settings on my monitors res i.e.....1280 x 760
N is it worth the cost......thnx in advance

i think no it won't play games on ultra, even with that low resolution. and i think it's not worth to spend money for it. you should save your money and upgrade properly when you can

tomshardware has its monthly best GPU for the price, i think its better togo with 250x(95$) or 260x(125$) they are not much more expencive.
the 6870 is not worth 95$ in any way as far i can see it.

I still use my old 6870 to play BF3, BF4, Far Cry 4, etc. It's a good card, but you won't get ultra settings on new games. Medium to High with no AA, which ain't bad for such an old card.

In any case I agree with the previous posters that $92 is probably too much. Might as well get a new card at that price. $50 or so would make more sense for a used 6870 IMO. I paid about $175 four years ago.
