I've ordered a GV-N75TOC-2GL which is a gtx 750 ti but it says it requires a minimum 400w power supply but I have a 240w. I want to turn my prebuilt hp compaq 6200 small form factor into a decent gaming computer.

The rest of my comp specs: intel core i7 2600 @3.4ghz, 4gb ddr3 x2, ssd, ati radeon hd 4550 1gb (place holder) ssd, sata 7200 rpm.

Yes, it will probably work. But I can't say for how long. The PSU may give out, hopefully not taking anything else out when it does. Look on the PSU's nameplate for the +12V ratings.
I have this Dell optiplex 790 SFF... http://images.tecchannel.de/images/tecchannel/bdb/2155453/890.jpg ... also with a 240W PSU. I have this Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti running it it with no issues so far: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125680
I have maxed out both the CPU and GPU running stress tests at the same time and estimated that the +12V rail was drawing less than 14A. It is rated for 17A.

If I had to recommend a card for your system, it would be the GT 730 DDR5 64 bit. The GTX 750 Ti you run at your own risk.

Telling me what the 12V rails are called doesn't help any. I was asking for the +12V rails' amp ratings.

I like the gfx card considering it is all that I can use in the little PC. And I'm probably pushing the PSU as it is. Btw, the processor it is working with is a i5-2400.

The amp specs are good enough. I forgot to ask for something else. Does the nameplate say anywhere what the total wattage is for just the +12V rails?

Your PSU appears to have the same or slightly better +12V specs than my little 240W in the Optiplex. Personally, I would have no problem running a GTX 750 Ti in it. But for the sake of this forum, I'm only going to recommend the GT 730 I mentioned above.
